1. Организационный момент.

Good morning, students! I’m glad to see you. How are you?

I hope you are ready for the lesson.

Today we are going to discuss environmental problems of our town using key vocabulary of our previous lessons.

Well, I think everybody is ready to start working.

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

Let’s practise pronunciation of the most difficult words:

environment, environmental,

recycle, recyclable materials, recycling centre,

throw away (threw, thrown),

pollution, protection, prohibition.

Say the sentences after me:

Environmental problems are growing day by day.

It’s a waste of time.

Stop the pollution of the environment!

Don’t throw away the rubbish which can be recycled!

If I were you, I would become an ecologist.

We must save our planet.
